Ethnic shoot

Here's some images from our West African-themed shoot styled and modelled by the beautiful Luena Gama.This project is part of Luena's exploration of her African roots, and a ton of research went into ensuring that the right accessories, fabrics and paint designs went into the picture. We had the help of the very talented Diana Enaiche taking care of make-up and hair styling.The images were mostly shot in medium format film, since I was after an organic feel to the images which could complement the aesthetics and at the same time give the images a timeless feel.
