The Platinum Palladium printing process is considered a class on its own amongst printing methods. A solution containing noble metals is coated onto thick cotton paper and then combined with a large format negative, the same size as the final image, before being exposed to UV light. The resulting images display a sublime range of tones and a tactile feel like no other process. The exposed metals sip into and combine with the very fibres of the paper, unlike pigments sitting on a surface. The use of such stable and durable materials also confers the highest of archival permanence and, properly cared for, the prints should last for many decades without fading or losing any of their splendour.

This portrait depicts Georgia with a wreath of vines and thorns, her intense blue eyes piercing through the black veil that covers her naked features. The print exploits the brush strokes from the Platinum/Palladium process creatively, emphasizing the shapes and flow of the fabric and nature, in a dynamic and stunning composition.

Please note that every print is individually hand-made to order, and no two prints will look identical. Prints usually ships within two weeks depending on stock.
